Yes it is. Your employer covers the costs of eligible prescription medications, including shipping, for you and for your dependents for a low fixed monthly fee. The only cost you may incur is the cost of seeing your doctor to get your prescription and have it sent to HomeMed for fulfillment.

If you are a listed employee for a participating employer, you are eligible for free prescription medication from HomeMed for you and your dependents. Please check your employer’s formulary to confirm whether your medications are covered before making an order.

Not necessarily. HomeMed also fills prescriptions for medical clinics and telehealth providers so your Doctor may have directed us to supply your last prescription. Talk to your employer or download the HomeMed app to see if they are a participating employer.

The brand name drugs are listed for reference only. If your physician prescribes under the brand name, please be sure to have them send it through with a note that generic substitutions are allowed. HomeMed will only ship the generic version of the brand medications.

HomeMed will only dispense medications that are listed on the approved employer formulary. Should your doctor want to prescribe medications other than these then the prescription for those should be sent to your regular pharmacy.
